Corporate Identity

In marketing, a corporate identity is the personality of a corporation and is visibly manifested by way of branding and the use of trademarks.

In general, within a set of guidelines, this amounts to a logo and supporting materials. These guidelines govern how the identity is applied through the use of appropriate color palettes, typefaces, page layouts and other such methods of maintaining visual continuity and brand recognition across all physical manifestations of the brand.

Corporate identity is composed of three parts:

Corporate Identity: Logo development is a key element to overall marketing efforts

A logo is one of the most important elements of your marketing efforts. Every marketing effort that follows is as strong (or as weak) as this initial building block.

Our process

To develop a logo for a company, we first define that company, what their objectives are and who their audience is. We often hear from new clients: "We love red and green, so we want a red and green logo."

Wrong.

It doesn't matter what colors a company favors—what matters is how the the target audience will respond. It's not about the company, it's about the target consumer.

Biz-comm interviews a client, then presents some possibilities, looking for your feedback. After several avenues are explored, a direction is chosen, colors and fonts are selected for further discussion. Once a final logo is agreed upon, all supporting file formats are prepared including signs, apparel, print, and web.
